When Google Translate Is the Better Choice
Plenty of the time, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise:
- You need a language we do not support yet. Our list is 20 languages. Google's is more than five times that.
- You are translating a document, a web page, a menu, or a sign.
- You are having a face to face conversation, where a phone between two people is exactly the right form factor.
- You want nothing installed at all, and a phone held up to the sound is a workable way in.
When Unitra AI is the better choice
- The people you need to understand are speaking inside a game or a voice app, not into your phone.
- You are wearing headphones, so there is no sound in the room for a phone to pick up at all.
- You are not going to put a phone next to your keyboard for the length of a ranked session.
